At Ladybird we take safeguarding very seriously and as such have comprehensive policies to ensure the safeguarding of the children. Copies of all policies are kept in the hallway of each setting. Managers and Practitioners are legally obliged to report all safeguarding concerns to the Local Authority. If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact the Nursery Manager immediately.
We have installed extensive CCTV systems in our nurseries to ensure the safety of the children, staff, parents/carers and visitors. Strict policies are in place to ensure the correct use and maintenance of the CCTV systems - these can be found in the policy booklet.
The security of children, staff, parents/carers and visitors is paramount to us. We have devised comprehensive security processes within the nursery – these are laid out in the policy booklet and include a video entry phone system and a sign-in/sign-out system for all visitors.
Health and Safety
At Ladybird we provide a safe early learning environment in which children learn and are cared for and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all of our employees.
To develop and promote a strong health and safety culture within the nursery for the benefit of children, staff and parents we provide information, training and supervision.
